Crews will work outside the roadway on VT 15 within the Village of Johnson, from just east of VT 100C to Park Street, during the peak hours of 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Anticipated Driveway Impacts: From Wednesday through Saturday, properties on VT 15, from just east of VT 100C to Park Street, will experience temporary 30-minute interruptions to driveway access for the paving of driveway aprons. Residents and businesses affected by these short interruptions are encouraged to use alternative on-street parking on VT 15 if they need to leave during this time. If access is required during an interruption, residents and businesses should contact on-site crew members for assistance. Crews will maintain access for emergency services by paving driveways in halves or maintaining a secondary entrance.

Early next week, crews will conduct exploratory digging along VT 15 in Cambridge near Nye’s Green Valley Farm Bed and Breakfast.
Throughout the week, crews will continue ledge and rock removal on VT 15 near the Bed and Breakfast and move west. Crews will complete the installation of underdrain, starting near the VT 15/ VT108 junction in Cambridge before moving mid-week to the section of VT 15 near the Bed and Breakfast for completion.
On Friday, crews will begin milling the roadway on VT 15 within the Village of Johnson. During peak commuting hours (6 - 8 a.m. and 4 - 6 p.m.), crews will be off-site within the village limits.

TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: From Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., motorists can expect up to three traffic control packages on Vermont Route 15 (VT 15) in Cambridge and Johnson. There will be alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers within the project limits from the VT 15/ VT108 junction in Cambridge to just east of the VT 100C intersection in the Village of Johnson.
On Monday, June 3, during daytime hours, the Village of Johnson will be working on VT 15, which is expected to impact traffic. This work is independent of the Cambridge-Johnson VT 15 Resurfacing Project.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and exercise caution while traveling within the project area. Expect traffic delays and plan extra time for travel.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting this spring, the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) will begin work to replace seven culverts in Cambridge and Johnson as part of separate projects to improve the roadway infrastructure.
This week, VTrans District #8 will be continuing work to replace a culvert on Vermont Route 15 by the Johnson Farm and Garden Store. The project teams are working in close coordination to minimize impacts to traffic throughout the area. The project includes road resurfacing along VT 15 within the Village of Johnson, reclamation and paving work along the eight-mile stretch of VT 15 from the village limits west toward Cambridge, replacement and maintenance of several culverts and guardrail, and ditching.
