Notice of Public Hearing

The Town of Eden Selectboard hereby provides notice of a public hearing being held pursuant to 24 VSA §4385 (Adoption &Amendment of Plans) and §4444 (Public Hearing Notice) for the purpose of hearing public comments concerning the proposed Town of Eden Town Plan 2025 – 2033.

The public hearing has been scheduled for: DATE: January 27th, 2026, at 6:00pm

PLACE: 71 Old Schoolhouse Road, Eden Mills, VT 05653 Statement of Purpose: The public hearing is being held to solicit public comments regarding the draft Town of Eden Town Plan 2025 – 2033.

The draft Town Plan is consistent with the Plan objectives per Section 4382 of Chapter 117; Title 24 compatible with Vermont’s Statewide Planning Goals (established under Section 4302). The Town Plan is also guided by overall objectives listed by topic area under the “Statement of Objectives” section.

Geographic Area Affected: This Plan shall apply to all areas in the Town of Eden.
