NEW Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy

The Lamoille County Planning Commission serves on the board of the Northern Vermont Economic Development District (NVEDD), a district designated by the Economic Development Administration of the US Department of Commerce, which allows our region access to necessary resources and funding. NVEDD has released the draft 2026–2031 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for public review and comment. This important regional plan helps guide resources and funding for economic development priorities across Northern Vermont. Public input is critical to ensuring the plan reflects the needs and aspirations of our region. We encourage all to review the draft and submit comments during the 30-day public comment period. Please email Abby Long, abby@nekcollaborative.org with feedback by July 8th.
