Lamoille County Planning Commission Seeks County Directors

The Lamoille County Planning Commission (LCPC) is seeking nominees to fill County Director positions on its Board of Directors. LCPC provides planning, education, and research services for Lamoille County’s 15 municipalities. We promote regional strategies, partnerships, and solutions to strengthen local communities and the region’s competitiveness and quality of life. LCPC fosters intergovernmental collaboration among federal, state, and local officials, delivers and manages various federal and state programs, and works to solve regional issues and to address the fundamental building blocks required for competitive and sustainable communities. LCPC’s Board of Directors is a policy board with appointed representatives from local municipalities and elected at-large County Directors representing business, community, educational institutions, the nonprofit sector, and the general public. 

Annually, LCPC seeks nominees to fill its five County Director positions. If you would like to serve as a County Director, submit a brief “Letter of Interest” or download and submit the nomination form by Friday May 10, 2024 to: LCPC Nominating Committee, PO Box 1637, Morrisville, VT  05661 or lcpc@lcpcvt.org.  The Letter of Interest should include a short description of why you would like to serve on this board. The LCPC Board of Directors meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm.
