Designated Downtown and Village Centers in Lamoille County
The Vermont Downtown and Village Center Programs allow communities to delineate and designate downtowns and village centers for special incentives in support of historic preservation, economic development, and housing development. The incentives include:
- 10% Tax Credit for Substantial Rehabilitation of Certified Historic Buildings
- 25% Tax Credit for Façade Improvements
- 50% Tax Credit for Building Code Improvements
- Priority Consideration for State Grants and other Programs
- Neighborhood Development Area Eligibility
