GIS Data

Regional and statewide data sets are available at the Vermont Center for Geographic Information at http://vcgi.vermont.gov/. The Vermont Geodata Portal has a set of categories of available GIS data including roads, e911 address locations, public conserved lands, ecologic data, recreation and trails, and more.

LCPC maintains a number of town datasets including trails, bridges and culverts, zoning and land use, utilities (sewer, water, electric), designated village center boundaries, and tax parcels.

Data are available free of charge to member municipalities for the ESRI shapefile or geodatabase format; conversion to other formats incurs a labor charge. Data can be sent via email, but larger datasets may require a Flash Drive and a handling charge.
