The Lamoille County Planning Commission (LCPC) currently has a vacancy on its Board for a County Director. LCPC provides planning, education, and research services for Lamoille County’s 15 municipalities. We promote regional strategies, partnerships, and solutions to strengthen local communities and the region’s competitiveness and quality of life. LCPC’s Board of Directors is a policy board with appointed representatives from local municipalities and elected at-large County Directors representing business, community, educational institutions, the nonprofit sector, and the general public.

The vacancy is for the balance of this fiscal year which ends on June 30, 2025. At that time all 5 County Directors must reapply. If you would like to serve as a County Director, submit a brief Letter of Interest  by March 5, 2025 to: LCPC, PO Box 1637, Morrisville, VT 05661 or georgeana@lcpcvt.org. The Letter of Interest should include a short description of why you would like to serve on this board. You may also fill out the nomination form HERE and submit it to georgeana@lcpcvt.org.
